Before I joined Kool, I was contemplating just returning into my original Hip Hop Roots, I was asked to send in a Tape .
After doing so was set to do a Friday Night Slot with The Weetabix Kid aka Funky Flirt.
On the Show I was able to showcase some Jovial and juicey Lyrics and styles and wasn’t long before I was truly accepted and felt welcomed by various other Djs and Mcs.
Although I had some success on rush, joining Kool was definitely a game changer.
It was more refined much better organised and most of all on CONSTANTLY.
After a few Months I was attending many more events and shows through the station and started to fit in with an old colleague dj Ital, the Saturday afternoon sizzler.
Was totally in love with the comradee the meetings the respect and the community feel about the station.
At 1 point I was Mc Manger where I tried to use some of my customer services and office skills to enhance the station, galvanised the timetable get jingles adds and even vinyl mainly for other people.

ShockinB dj/mc... been involved in the underground hardcore jungle scene, since the early 90's.
Started his professional career as a rapper, was a member of a jazz fusion band called The fuzz junkies.
Self taught to mix and chat/ rap etc as a follow on from school and playground antics/ sound system days...
Has also shared skills and tips with many youngsters during many workshops he tutored at his local youth centre
Shockin' later went on to make waves on the pirate radio scene as Mc Shocking, started on a local station called Function fm and then proceeding to the Weekend Rush and worked alongside the likes of the brainkillers, (apache and unknown) Ital, funkyflirt, redant, remarc, rusher and fox, shabba d, sparks...
But it wasnt untill his move, the turn of the year 95/96 when he got on to the LEGENDARY
